This luxurious yarn is hand dyed in a pastel gradient of ice blue, purple and navy. Gradients really shine when worked up into a shawl, but there are plenty of other ways to enjoy them. You could use them as weft on your loom and weave beautiful fabric for fashioning into other garments. Lots of yardage in this skein to make a shawl, wrap, or even a lightweight summer top. The possibilities are endless!

Polwarth sheep are originally Australian and are named after Polwarth - a region near Colac in Victoria. Polwarth are a cross between the Merino and Lincoln breeds. At 23.5 microns, their fleece is super soft and the resulting yarn is full of bounce and very suitable for next to skin wear. Polwarth wool feels wonderful next to the skin, and the mulberry silk adds shine and drape.

This yarn was spun on my Lendrum ST wheel in a smoke free, pet friendly environment.

This yarn will felt. If that is not your intention, please be sure to handwash gently in cool water and lay flat to dry.
