Vest is weighted through out the entire vest, with plastic pellets. Weight cannot be added once it's finished. the pellets are not removable.
Vest can be machine washed in cold water and dry on a low setting.
when purchasing a vest, I recommend going up 1 size for a comfy fit, and for longer wear.
The suggested weight is 4-5% of your body weight, however keep in mind every individual's sensory needs are different. It is recommended to consult your occupational therapist for more newest information regarding the appropriate percentage of weight.
