Vintage Suitcase, 1940s Blue newest Tweed and Leather Hard Shell Suitcase, Antique Mid Century Luggage Decor Prop

Nice vintage 1940's blue tweed and leather hard shell suitcase. This suitcase is made by Liebermann of Saginaw, Michigan and has their metal logo badge on the front. Main body of this is a tough hard shell that is covered in a deep navy blue textured material that appears to be a tweed fabric. It has genuine blue leather trim. Hardware and locks are made of steel. It has a blue leather and steel handle. Interior is lined with a blue cotton rayon material. This one even has the original owners monogram 'D.M.E.' on a leather patch near the handle, a charming addition to this piece! Has the perfectly worn leather and aged patina look with scuffs, scratches, wear from use, all of which give it that great well traveled look for decor! There is one small spatter of white paint on the handle of this with a little newest bit also on the case itself behind the handle. This is in overall good solid condition. There is no key for the locks but the locking latches function fine without it. Would be a wonderful piece for home decor! Would even make a great photo, movie, or stage prop! Has the perfect look for mid century, rustic, farmhouse, cottage chic, or many other decor themes! Could even still be used as a chic travel case! A great piece of antique luggage!
