Here is a vintage oil on porcelain portrait painting of a older cowboy in blue. He has on a blue jacket ,yellow large scarf bandanna and a worn brown hat. Plus a very nice gray beard.The art is signed Phyllis Niebur at the middle area. Porcelain painter artist, Phyllis Niebur (died 2012).She studied in Germany using oil and acrylic in the early 1960's.She continued her education at the Art League School within the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Virginia and then continued in classes around the world.It is framed in a wood frame that is original.The entire piece measures 9 3/4 x 11 3/4 in. Painting only measures 8 x 10 in. It is in good vintage condition with only some newest minor nicks to the edges of the frame. I would date this art to the late 1960s to early 1970s time period. I have 3 other paintings by this artist ,shown in one picture here. They will all be listed in separate listings in my shop.
