Antique Escargot Pan, Baking Pan, Cooking Dish with Indentations, Brown Glazed Stoneware, newest Victorian 1880's to 1900

newest Stunning antique stoneware baking pan. Made approx. between 1880 and 1900 in Austria.

This brown glazed ceramic dish with heavy age related patina was used to make the Austrian version of sweet jam filled donuts. In France similar pans were used for the preparation and serving of escargots (snails).

The baking pan has 14 indentations and one handle (second one missing). Would look lovely hanging on your farmhouse kitchen wall. Please refer to the pictures for detailed views. Props are not included in the offer ;)
