Carnival glass gets its iridescent sheen from metallic salts having been sprayed on the surface of the glass while it was still very hot.
I can't imagine this type of glass without a sheen as it gives it such a beautiful glow.
Dugan Glass Co., produced the Windflower pattern between 1911 and 1931.
What a gorgeous design with raised Windflowers and leaves running around the sauce boat and also on the bottom.
The ribbed flared edge highlights the piece.
Measures 3 1/2" to the tallest point by 7 1/2" from handle to spout with the base being 3 3/8" in diameter.
Comes in fantastic condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or any other damage whosoever!
Makes a GREAT candy / mint dish!
