Set of Two Monbijou Hand Painted China Plate Made newest in Bavaria

RC Monbijou china was produced in Bavaria from 1896-1907. This line of china was produced by Rosenthal was the first to carry the Crown RC marking. These plates were hand painted with lovely, delicate flowers. The gilded, scalloped edge is a hallmark of this series. One plate as the maker's initials, RAS, while the other does not. These plates would be beautiful in a china cabinet or a decorative shelf. There are no obvious nicks, chips, or scratches. These plates are in excellent antique condition! newest
