Ancient, small and beautiful box in natural fiber, Italian, of the 50s (Sardinia). The size and its quality 'craftsmanship, determined by a fine and subtle workmanship, and the decorative motifs, roses and butterflies in the lid, lead me to believe that it was used as a jewelry box or container of small precious objects. Also noteworthy is the elegant checkered workmanship. The brown color, with which all the decorative motifs are depicted, is of natural origin; it is probably an herb. The box is in excellent condition, to report a stain inside (Photo 5). Its measurements are: height 10 cm (3.9''); depth 20 cm ( 7.9 '') ; width 20cm (7.9''). Its weight is Kg 0, 190 ( 6.7 oz ). Photos are an integral part of the inscription.
