These are wooden balancing stones or building block.

The concept for these wooden stones originated in Japan; the name Tumi ishi is Japanese for piled stones.

Stones are individually hand made and vary in size, shape, and wood species including black walnut, maple, cherry, mahogany, and oak. We carefully sand each block and finish them with our own blend of food grade fractionated coconut oil and beeswax only.

This set newest includes 12 Tumi Ishi wood blocks in a hand made wooden maple and mahogany box made from clear maple.
