This Teenie Beanie Baby named Maple that is a rare retired bear due to the tag errors as well as being one of a limited number that was made. It is referred to as new because it has not been removed from the package and has not been handled. The back flap of the box has been opened to view the Tush tag. This one of four collector bears in the International series. This bear was collected in support of Ronald McDonald House charities at the time it was introduced. According to the package it was introduced February 27, 1997 with a birth date of July 1, 1996 but the year on the Tush tag is 1993. His Tush tag reads Oakbrook, IL while on the newest back of the box it is two words Oak Brook, IL. The bear is a Canadian bear and you will note it has a Canadian flag on its chest. Finding him is a rarity but I must now part with my collection.
