Navajo Sterling Lizard Cuff Bracelet 925 Silver B.G. Mudd Storyteller Vintage Jewelry Native Southwestern Birthday newest Anniversary Mother's Day
This is a beautiful, vintage Navajo sterling silver lizard cuff bracelet made by renowned Southwestern jewelry company, B.G. Mudd, which commissions Native American artisans to make their pieces. This bracelet was made by a Navajo artisan. The bracelet is unisex - for a man or woman.
The inner circumference of the cuff bracelet is about 6 1/4" including its opening. Its opening is about 1". It measures about 2 1/4” by 1 3/4”. The bracelet has some bend to accommodate a larger or smaller wrist, but best to let a jeweler adjust it because of its intricate workmanship.
The bracelet is a little more than 1/4" in width. It has 5 lizards around the bracelet and weighs about 26.6 grams. For the Navajo, lizards represent strength and protection. The bracelet is stamped BGM .925 with the B.G. Mudd newest logo.
B.G. Mudd is a renowned jewelry company in New Mexico that was founded 43 years ago by Gary Gordon. The company works with award-winning Native American artists to combine traditional Native American and contemporary southwestern design.
