Vintage Murano glass basket bowl cobalt blue, 1950s bowl Flavio Poli Seguso Sommerso, mid century Murano glass home decor, newest glass art gift

This beautiful pointed small basket bowl, handle bowl in flowing shape was made using the Sommerso newest technology.
The mouth-blown bowl comes from Italy, Murano, made in the 50s, the original sticker is no longer available.

The shape with the pointed ends, two of them stretch up and meet in the middle to form a handle.
The basket bowl design, which has now become a classic, was produced in different colors.
This basket bowl is made in the great vibrant cobalt blue color.

Elegant, extraordinary glass bowl - perfect for chocolates, cookies, candies, fruit.
A very nice gift, a real eye-catcher in the living room or dining room.
Very good condition - with small signs of wear on the underside and one small crack on the one side - almost invisible .

Carlo Scarpa only invented the Sommerso technology in the second half of the 1930s for the Venini & C. manufactory.
This is glass that is covered with a thick layer of clear or other colored glass.
This technique has been adopted by many other manufacturers who have achieved very different results with it.
