As the first step, we collect fine kilim Rugs from across the Anatolian region. We then begin the process.

One talented village lady spends around two months to finish this size of Oushak Kilim Rug.
But it can take newest more time depends on the complicated motif.

We use organic colored wool while knotting the Kilim. After finishing knotting, we trim down the pile to make it smooth and even.
Then we wash, shampoo and rinse them. Any potential residue is removed during this process.

Then the rugs are dried under the sun and pressed in the machine to make it even and flat.

What's cool about it is that it gives people an ability to give new life to their place.
