Island Sail is an original oil painting on a 8x8 inch archival-quality natural cotton, gesso primed, canvas panel. Only professional grade, quality oil paints are used. We were in St John USVI a few years ago and I captured this scene in water color and transferred it to oil a few weeks later. Very suggestive and I believe it captures the spirit of the islands. This beautiful little sailing scene is loaded with palette knife texture and layers and layers of serene muted colors.

I do my best to accurately depict the beauty and color of my pieces in my photographs. Staged room photos may not represent the exact size of the painting but a close example.
