It is mainly brass with a white decorated face that appears to be porcelain or enamel. The clock itself stands 10.5 inches high. It comes with its glass dome that alone measures about 10 inches high. The base, clock and dome altogether are about 12 inches high. The clock says made in Germany on the face but says made in West Germany on back. The clock does work. The arm with the four balls is still connected and moves freely. I see no damage to the gears. The brass on the clock has some toning and marks Does not come with a key. This is a Beautiful Piece There is one tiny chip see pictures in dome.
