Beautiful designer vintage 1970s 100% silk 2-piece skirt blouse set by John Yang for Jack Mulqueen. This stunning, mint condition set is so unique and timeless. The fit is modern, even today, wear as a set with the blouse tucked in or out, or wear the pieces separately. The blouse looks great with jeans and the skirt is stunning with any coordinating top.
John Yang is known for his subtle details on top of details. This fabric is exquisite - the finest, high quality silk. The set is a black and ivory grid pattern with tone-on-tone ivory polkadots, trimmed with a perfect romantic 1970s floral print on ivory tone-on-tone polkadots.
The blouse fastens at the back of the back of the neck with delicate pearl tone buttons. The blouse is a nice flowy, boxy fit with lots of room in the sleeve - the shape lends to the perfect hang in the silk.
The skirt is your classic 70s silhouette, cinched at the waist and an a-line shape hitting just below the knee. It fastens at the side and has pockets!
