The ANGELINE is a basic semi-fitted dress with button front closure and open skirt placket; straight, semi-fitted sleeves; round jewel neckline finished with bias strip; full gathered skirt (132" at hem). Made in lovely 100% cotton broadcloth solids in many colors.

***IMPORTANT FITTING INFORMATION***
This dress pattern can be made for misses' bust measurements between 29" and 45," and waist measurements 22" to 42." If either of your measurements fall outside these ranges, please contact me before ordering. Extra charges may apply for further pattern or fitting alteration. The skirt length can be made up to 44" finished length. Extra charges will apply for longer length. Standard hem length is 4" shorter than your waist-to-floor measurement, but please let me know if you desire a different length.

You must supply me with your full bust, natural waist, and waist to floor measurements (or desired skirt length measurement, please specify) upon ordering. I cannot cut your order until I have these measurements, so please enter accurate measurements into the PERSONALIZATION area, below the variations drop-down on the right of the page. Please contact me before ordering if you need instructions on how to take these measurements accurately.

TO TAKE YOUR WAIST TO FLOOR MEASUREMENT FOR SKIRT LENGTH:
Standing on the floor with bare feet shoulder-width apart, measure the length from your natural waistline (narrowest part) at your side, straight down your hip and down the outside of your leg down to the floor. Do not add or subtract anything, just give me the raw measurement. Have a helper read the tape for you if necessary.

The ANGELINE dress is named for my pioneer ancestor, ANGELINE BURLINGAME MORRISON (1810-1885). Born in upstate New York, she and her husband, Rufus Morrison, settled in southern Michigan in 1838.
