After seeing the dragon scale arm warmers, I knew I had to make some! These are luxuriously soft, made from a variety of variegated yarn, but still with the awesomeness of dragon scales. They go well with newest tightly fitted long sleeves, and are also easier to put on if you've already got a coat on.
The wrist warmers are crocheted from a couple of different yarns. The upper portion, in variegated rainbow colors, is 56% bamboo, 24% cotton, and 20% acrylic; the lower and wrist portion, in aqua/blue, greens, and pinks, is 78% cotton, 22% silk. The wrist warmers are accented with aqua plastic buttons.
The wrist warmers measure 7 inches long (17.8 cm), and are about 7 inches (17.8 cm) in circumference at the wrist (slightly larger at the top). At the wrist, there is a small slit with the button on one side and a crocheted loop on the other. Unbuttoned, the wrist measurement can stretch up to about 8 1/2 inches (21.6 cm); buttoned, the wrist measurement is about 6 inches (15 cm). The thumb hole sits about 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) from the edge of the arm warmer. I would call this size a small or medium, though trending closer to a small.
These wrist warmers can be machine washed and dried. The yarn used is already super soft, and washing it only makes it softer.
