Newest Moose

This Moose is made using the art of intarsia. It measures 15 1/2 inches by 14 1/2 inches and is 1 inch thick.

This Moose contains 23 individual pieces of wood. Each piece is cut out with a scroll saw, shaped, raised or lowered and glued to present the perfect image of the Moose.

The woods used newest are mahogany, pine, cherry and walnut.

The colors are natural wood colors. No wood stains are used. The dot on the eye is painted white.

A backing is attached and a saw tooth picture hook is on the back for hanging on a wall.

A lacquer finish is applied to preserve the wood and give it a slight shine.
