Product code: Vintage Dress Ivory Lace Bodice, Organza? Skirt - 1930s to 40's - newest Some Cleaning
This dress dates back to the 30s to 40's. Its in pretty good shape for the age, but it really needs a good soak to lift that discoloration on the skirt and to brighten that lace back up some. There are buttons on the side of the dress. No other types of closures. The skirt material is like a stiff organza type. I cannot think of the exact material. It's a crisp sheer material. There are some moth holes on the skirt as well as the discolored spots that need repair. No odors. Somehow this dress smells very faintly like coconuts to me. I don't understand how, because it came out of a large box of vintage clothing items dating back as far as the 1800's and none of those clothes had a scent. From what I understand the lot had been left in an outbuilding of a home for several decades. Please study all of the photos for a closer look at size, condition and details. Measurements can be found in the photos. Pet free and smoke free here. Fun fact: this dress came out of an newest estate in Denton, M.
