About Mats Jonasson Maleras Glass:
"Mats Jonasson is a Swedish glass designer notable for his engraved lead crystal sculptures newest of flowers and wildlife. Each of his pieces are handmade in Målerås, Sweden. The original Målerås glass house was started in 1890!
The work of Målerås is designed most notably by Mats Jonasson, who saved the glassworks along with the town's inhabitants in 1981. He is supported by talented Swedish designers including Ludvig Löfgren and Linda Lundberg. The glass sculptures, bowls, tealight holders and more are created by a skilled team of glass artists. The Målerås glasshouse draws upon traditional Swedish glass crafts and a strong Swedish artistic tradition. This is combined with contemporary and original designs perfect for today's glass lovers."
