Rare and Magnificent vintage Hutschenreuther “Madonna and Child” C. Werner figurine. Except newest for a chip in the “halo” in the back, it is in excellent condition. Because of the damage, I have reduced the price considerably. It displays really well and beautifully. Paper label is still intact and C. Werner embossed at the base.
This is a Hutschenreuther model and part of collection of thirteen Hutschenreuther's sculptures on the themes of Nativity (Krippenfiguren). Carl Werner designed these figurines. This figurine represents Madonna holding her child in hands (Mondsichelmadonna). Gentle texture of porcelain beautifully represents details of this piece.
It measures 6" tall x 3" wide and 2.5" in depth.
