Product code: Very Rare Porcelain Figurine - Danish Baby (Not a newest Toy)
An incredibly well-preserved Danish Baby Boy Crawler made in the early to mid-1960s by the famous Royal Copenhagen company. This is a very special “Retired” edition designed by the late Else Sandholt. It is an authentic porcelain figurine produced through the “Pigmented Underglaze Technique”. After a worldwide search, we were unable to find any more of these extremely rare figurines. Additionally, this one is in ultra pristine condition. The adorable baby-boy has been displayed in a glass case for over newest 50 years and is flawless. 1518 is glazed beneath one hand and stamped under one foot. This is an investment grade fine art item. Considered as a family heirloom. Retail value if you could ever find one is $300, so no lowballing please. He weighs about 5.5 oz., and stands with his rear about 4” high. This collector's figurine was previously owned by a famous painter in the 70s, and a perfect gift for parents of boys.
