#2/50 Reprint of Saguaros, Sunsets and Sand has one of my favorite sunset backgrounds created using deep violet, magenta, peach, pink yellow and white. The landscape was created with a variety of contrasting colors making this painting radiate with warm beauty.
The painting was created using a acrylic paint, Floetrol, and water. The acrylic paint was spread around the canvas using a sponge technique. The clouds, sand newest and shadows were all created with my fingers. The finer details were all added using various paint brushes. The artwork was created by adding multiple layers of paint to create depth and texture until it took on the design you see here. After blissful hours of working on this piece, it is now finished and reprinted for others to enjoy! It is ready to go to a new home! This reprint is signed and number on the front.
