A beautiful hand written custom Asian calligraphy in either Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. Artist was taught in Korea and ranked as a master calligrapher. I started calligraphy at age 13 and have been doing it for more than 50 years now. The paper is a parchment paper and I grind ink sticks with water on a specific ink stone to be used in my paintings and writing calligraphy.

I have been painting calligraphy since 1965 and have taught in both Korea and USA.

The size includes the matting which is the black/white border on top of the rice paper and it is held together on a backboard.

This 12" x 30" has newest a Single Matting.

If you request a person's name, please understand that the name will be written phonetically unless you can also provide the person's name in the requested language. Also the name will be 'similar' but it will not sound exactly the same as an English name's pronunciation. This is due to the difference in the language.

In traditional oriental artwork, the artist signs the artwork in a red stamp. The stamp contains the artist name within the stamp block.
