Monotype Landscape Hand Pulled Fine Art Print

This print was created by covering glass with raw umber ink and wiping away areas that show as light/white (reductive monotype) before making an impression. A monotype is a one-of-a-kind print, as there is no matrix and it cannot be reproduced.

This monotype was hand pulled using a baren onto Japanese printmaking papers. It's from a series of similar prints I've titles “Field Studies” inspired by an area I walk my dogs.

It measures 7” x 7” with about an inch of surrounding border and newest fits nicely in a standard 12” x 12” frame. If you are interested in having a custom mat cut, please see my listing.

It will be shipped flat via priority mail with plenty of packing to ensure it's safe arrival.
