RUSSET

These treasures were beachcombed by hand by me in Orkney, Scotland and in the Isles of Scilly, England. I absolutely love the colour combination of the cobalt blue with the rusty orange and russet elements - the newest colours are so vivid. The individuals shells and elements include: an orange shore crab carapace, blue and orange sea glass, 5 common blue mussels shells, some gorgeous pieces of sea brick, some rare cobalt blue sea glass; 5 pieces of decorative blue and white sea pottery shards and a variety of other beach treasures.

Each element was lovingly collected by me, cleaned and then arranged in a composition to show off their beautiful colours and textures before being glued in position.

This piece is mounted in a beach-washed wooden frame, on a linen-covered backboard, and is ready to hang on the wall. The frame features a magnetic-opening hinged front, so that you can still open this frame and feel the textures of the each beach treasure.

This coastal-style original artwork would be the perfect addition to any home.
