The wooden Merry Christmas sign is made out of 1/2" thick cabinet-grade Baltic Birch plywood. Baltic Birch is virtually void-free and true to staying flat. Something not found with lesser grade plywood, especially pine.

Our decor differs from most other similar items on Etsy in the fact that we actually spray 2 to 3 coats of a professional quality Pre-Catalyzed Satin Lacquer on all of our Decor, sanding between each coat, for a silky smooth newest finish.

Size - Approx - 24" x 13" - about an inch thick overall.

First, we cut out the separate components. Then the sign back is painted then sanded just the right amount. We then apply a stain and hand rub to get a rustic vintage look. We then apply the lettering and flourishes. When all is dry, we spray it with several coats of satin pre-cat lacquer for a warm finished look. There are two tabs for easy hanging.
