Stunning Older Chinese Wood, Brass, and Hand Carved Light Green Jade inserts on 3 sides-- 3 Drawer Jewelry Box with a Bright Pink Damask Silk Lining. The top of this piece has a handle that is shaped like a Bat. Bats bring good luck in China. Each corner on this box has a brass bat. On the sides there are more holding the jade oval pieces in, on 2 sides only. The front doors have brass handles shaped like leaves. I do not have a lock for this one, newest but you can still buy them on line. This box is in very good vintage estate condition with no issues that I could find. This box has 4 panels of Light Green Jade. 2 long ones on the front and 2 oval ones on each side. All of the brass is still there and on all 4 corners of this box. The wood, brass, and Jade are all beautiful. This Jewelry box at 7 inches tall, not including the brass on top, 5 1/2 inches wide, and 4 1/4 inches deep. There are 3 drawer's on the inside with little brass handles that pull out. The top drawer has a compartment for rings plus a compartment for what ever you want to keep in it. The other 2 drawers are plain with the silk lining.. The brass is delicately engraved and enhances the beauty of the wood and Jade encompassing the Jewelry Box. The design and condition of this piece is just beautiful. This a Older Chinese Jewelry Box with brass and Jade enhancements will be a wonderful addition to your home or collection.
