Newest Vintage stoneware vinegar ewer, Brown glazed pottery oil jug

A medium to large size ceramic jug with a large top opening and small spout, glazed in a mid-brown. The handle is a simple bit of bent iron wire looped through 2 clay ´ears´. The bottom without markings but with some brown glazing drips / fingerprints and plenty of signs of age, also indicating the handmade nature of this item. This would typically have been a purely practical item, a kitchen storage vessel for oil or vinegar. The glazing with crazing and irregularities from the casual techniques used. No lid (could use a large cork)
