This cord is designed to be used for an INFINITY TIE. The loose section in the middle is placed over the couples hands and tied as seen in the video. When the couple slips their hands out, what remains is a perfect infinity knot. The perfect memento of when you literally tied the knot ;)

This beautiful design makes the most of different textures and gradients of natural shades. Perfect for a boho ceremony (or really any setting that's all about gorgeous textures and gentle use of colour) this cord's perhaps most unique feature is the cotton lace running all the way along the cord.



About handfasting:
Literally the origin of the term “tying the knot”, handfasting cords are part of the Pagan wedding tradition. However, especially in Scotland and some other parts of the UK they are also often incorporated in humanist, non-denominational, or Christian weddings.

About Ceotha:
I am a Scottish Artisan, specialising in intricate handfasting cords based on Celtic Knots. I pride myself in designing all my cords from scratch, with great care and attention being paid to the overall aesthetics, easy of use, texture, materials, and the meaning of the individual knots used. Since designing the first original Love Knot in 2017, I have loved expanding the range of my designs and treasured the opportunity to be able to provide meaningful accessories for celebrating love one knot at a time.

I am always happy to customise the design in almost any way imaginable. This includes custom colours, knots, material and end adornments (such as charms, leaves, feathers, or beads). However, for any customisation beyond changing the colour scheme, please message me before ordering your cord, since the customisation might impact the processing time and costs of the cord.


PROCESSING TIME:
Please assume that the item will require the maximum processing time stated on Etsy. However, since our cords are made to order, some delays can occasionally sneak in. If you have a tight deadline, make sure to send us a message and we will do everything in our power to meet it.


SHIPPING:


To US, Europe, and Australia:

* For Heart Knot and Love Knot
- STANDARD SHIPPING (included in the cost of the cord): Royal mail aims to deliver within 7 working days. In practise, this normally works out at around two weeks.
- PRIORITY TRACKED: As with the standard shipping, Royal mail aims to deliver within 7 working days but parcels are prioritised and tracked. This means that you get a number to track your delivery and that the parcel will likely arrive a few days earlier than it would with standard shipping.
- UPS: If you are in a rush, UPS can deliver your parcel within 2-3 working days.

*For all other cords:
- PRIORITY TRACKED (included in the cost of the cord) Royal mail aims to deliver within 7 working days but parcels are prioritised and tracked. This means that you get a number to track your delivery and that the parcel will likely arrive a few days earlier than it would with standard shipping.

To UK:
- Standard shipping: Your cord will arrive via royal Mail standard shipping
- Priority tracked: Your cord will be newest delivered the day after it is shipped
