Beautiful hand carved wood traditional cookie mold!
This is a very nice vintage large wood speculaas cookie mold with a pineapple design made by D. D. Dillon Carvings in Camp Hill, PA.
It is 10" in newest diameter and .75" deep.
It is in very nice condition. The back is signed D. Dillon 1983

For making Almond-Spice Speculoos, Speculaas or Spekulatius Cookies, a favorite German and Dutch cookie at Christmastime. The cookies are associated with the Dutch feast of Sinterklaas.

• In great vintage condition, shows minimal signs of wear, no cracks, chips
has minor scratches
• Very beautiful item, would look fantastic on display when not in use. Has a hanging hole on backside.
• Great for Speculaas, Springerle, Gingerbread or Shortbread. Also can be used for molding chocolate.
• Hand wash and oil (with food safe oil) periodically to prevent cracking.


During my research I found one similar to this sold in 2017 which had a cookie recipe on the back however this one just has a signature and no recipe.

Beautiful primitive piece that can be used or just hang and look fantastic:)
