This beautiful solid wood, hand-worked bread plate is from Lourdes, late 20th century. With a stamped image of the magnificent basilica in Lourdes in the base this plateau is a wonderful gift from this famous pilgrimage town, with "Give us our Daily Bread" impressed around the rim. Very nicely oiled and varnished in rich golden brown hues with the artists name engraved under the image.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage with some scrapes and wear to the underside of the rim.
