Rea newest Brook Rambles

This is a hand-printed, limited edition linocut print. £20 of the cost will be donated by the artist to Shropshire Wildlife Trust, a local nature charity.

The image is inspired by a nature trail which comes right in to the heart of Shrewsbury, Shropshire UK. The picture shows all kinds of wildlife along the banks of the winding brook; weeping willow, flowers and birds. The kingfisher is used as a symbol for the area.

The print consists of three colours: dark blue, brown and black. This newest has been created using the 'reduction' method meaning that the lino block is distroyed after each colour is printed. There are only 20 prints in this edition and they are each individually signed and numbered.
