This 16 x 20 canvas is a hand painted and original portrait of an English Bulldog. Black lines on a white background keep the painting bold, yet simple.

I started by painting the canvas white, then I drew the image on and painted it with rich, black pigment of a medium consistency, which gives the image texture throughout instead of just being completely flat.
