Hand painted & artist signed estate chalkware victorian Santa newest from Vaillancourt Folk Art entitled Father Christmas with Angel, #1929

Offered is an unusual hand painted chalkware Santa, made in Sutton, Massachusetts. This elderly Santa is sporting a long red coat & cap newest and has an angel helping to hold up his bag of gifts. As each Vaillancourt Santa is individually painted and artist signed, each one is unique.

Per the Vaillancourt website: "Vaillancourt Folk Art started in 1984, when Judi, a classically trained artist with a passion for antiques and Christmas, adapted the Victorian art form of chalkware into her own process by pouring liquid chalk into vintage confectionery moulds and applying her fine-art skills to the resulting three-dimensional canvas."

It is in very good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. The angel appears to have a flaw on its' backside. Please be sure to examine all photos closely.
