A terrific, vintage lion head silver plated ice bucket with a lid. Its vintage, tarnished condition gives it a wonderfully 'shabby' appearance. It is marked EPC, Poole Silver Co., Taunton, Mass. It bears the number 3400.

It features a vacuum insulted interior, sits on a low pedestal and has a pair of double ring door knocker handles that are attached to a lion's mouth on either side. The rim and base of the pedestal have braided design work.

The ice bucket is engraved and was a corporate gift. It bears the engraving: A MEMENTO OF PLEASANT RELATIONSHIPS FROM THE TRENTON SUNOCO DEALERS.

The ice buck is heavy with a glass lining. Without the lid, the bucket measures 7-inches tall X 6.5-inches across the opening X 6-inches across the base.

The ice bucket is in good (tarnished!) vintage condition. No dents or cracks. The interior is very clean.

Add this to your barware - it is quite lovely and unique with the inscription!
