Handmade fretboard drop newest earrings using recycled, silver-nickel frets from a boutique electric guitar manufacturer and bacote wood. Ear wires are sterling silver.

These drop earrings are BIG and fun.

The wood is finished with a satin wood finish. They are water safe, but to keep them in good condition, avoid exposure to water.

I'm a former shop assistant to a boutique electric guitar maker. These frets are scraps from his shop, which he kindly let me take home. My work with him involved all aspects of the guitar neck, from shaping and finishing the wood, to shaping and polishing the frets, as well as the nut, pick guards and knobs.

These frets are inserted into the bacote, just as they'd be inserted into a guitar neck.
