Lightweight but very warm pure Alpaca wool from Peruvian Collection. Alpaca wool is a very good quality wool. It keeps you warm and protects you from the elements. It's a strong, elastic, and tear-resistant fiber. Additional features include: it's soft, hypoallergenic, and eco-friendly. It can also be worn year-round and requires little maintenance.

This cute cardie sweater has a solid back and a subtle scattered pointelle, floral openwork texture on its front. The edges of the neckline, cuffs, front button placket, and bottom hem have delicate scallop accents. Buttons appear to be some sort of polished exotic (warm brown) wood. Sleeves are inset to the shoulder with full figured seaming. the round neckline is simple and this is just a very versatile, dependable, comfortable sweater.

The cardie was part of the estate of a woman who collected warm sweaters (mostly handmade) from Ireland, Scotland, Scandinavia and other parts of the world. She stored her collection in a cedar lined wardrobe with each sweater carefully folded around a smooth cedar block.

CONDITION: Excellent - no pilling or odors - arrives clean and ready to wear from a smoke free home.

MEASUREMENTS: Of garment itself laid flat, UNstretched - please compare to something that fits you & allow room for comfort - dress form measures 35" 24" 35" for reference. There are no size tags; but I'm guessing it will best fit today's medium to ML
