This antique chest / transport chest has not only got a grandiose patina on the old paints over the years, but newest is also "personalized" inside the lid (found condition) - date 1918 etc.
We have extensively cleaned the chest and finally sealed it inside and out. So not only the patina comes into its own much more beautifully, but the chest can also be wiped off damp.
The color of the old paints cannot be described - but the pictures reflect them quite well.
