Hand Turned newest Boxelder Burl Duck Call

Hand turned duck call made from triple dye stabilized (blue, green, and black) boxelder burl wood. This call is a single reed, but can be made into a double reed if you wish.


Wood stabilizing is the process of impregnating resin under vacuum into the cellular structures of the wood. The process is done to harden and strengthen newest the wood while also making it more impervious to moisture. During the process dyes can be added to the resin at various times to create brilliant and vibrant color additions to the wood.
