Collectable 1957 'Susanne Confetti' Yellow Set of 6 Butter Pat dishes. Aluminia was a Danish designer and manufacturer of earthenware pottery, established in Copenhagen in 1863. In 1882, the owners of Aluminia purchased the Royal Copenhagen porcelain factory which they ran independently until 1969 when the Aluminia name was newest dropped in preference for 'Royal Copenhagen Denmark'.
The 'Susanne Confetti' design has the classic clean lines and use of bold colours often found in Danish design, and is highly collectable today. It is unusual to find a complete set of 6 butter pats. The set is in remarkably good condition despite being over 60 years old with no signs of chips or cracks and only some age-related crazing to the glaze. A delightful set of butter pat dishes for the dining table or to add to your collection.
