In an exciting departure from his usual geometric paintings, “Legal” Bill has branched out once again, this time inspired by the lost industrial landscape of Stoke on Trent. Industry in Stoke has been categorised as “the Potteries” but it is little known outside of the area that there was a thriving steel industry with foundries from the late 1800's surviving into the 1980's.
Combining the masking techniques pioneered by his long term friend and painting partner, Dug Furrow, Bill has produced a dramatic post-industrial artwork with its stark lines focusing the interest.
Bill's wish to maintain a contemporary grey colour palate with slashes of bolder colour that will add contrast and interest to your beautiful home decor, whilst maintaining the sympathetic balance to your own home colour scheme.
Original acrylic on stretched canvas in beautiful contemporary colours. Painted and produced specifically to match and contrast with colour schemes of well known paint suppliers to beautifully complement all your home decoration.
With a theme and palate carefully chosen by the artist this painting will fit seamlessly into any home decorated with “high end” paint colours.
Why not buy as an original and unique present or maybe just treat yourself to an original artwork to enhance your home!
Furrow and Bill relocated to the beautiful East Cheshire countryside from two major cities in the South to pursue the dream of creating artwork together in a modern style, designed to stand the tests of time. Artwork designed and hand painted for today and forever!
