Maple Leaf newest Pedestal Dish

This Maple Leaf Pedestal dish is the perfect item to add to your fall decor. I used a maple leaf from my maple tree to imprint onto clay and then sculpted the base to look like a tree. The whole thing is made out of red clay but glazed in various greens, so you get this brown/green effect depending newest on the light. The piece is accented with a white gold luster along the rim of the leaf and the bark of the tree.

This is made with food safe glazes and could be used to serve something special, but the platter is not level.
