Newest Three Piece Tureen & Lid w/Ladle Hand-Painted Floral Potpourri - Mid-Century by BRIARD, GEORGES

This is a beautiful tureen with and lid, and ladle. The pattern is discontinued. It was sold at major department stores in the 1960's. The newest tureen and lid measure about 9" tall. The tureen and handles measure 9", 7 1/2" in diameter, excluding the handles. The ladle measures about 9 1/2" long and the dipper measures approximately 3 1/4" in diameter. See my notes under the title. This tureen set is selling on the premier replacement china company for $299.95. This tureen appears never to have been used, although it is pre-owned. There are no flaws. Weighs over 3 1/2 lbs.

When I am listing pre-owned and vintage or antique china or crystal, I expect that there may be some minor use marks, pin point size marks, small light brown spots, or paint loss. When I am listing clothing, unless marked with a new with tag , please understand that an item may have slight storage odors, slight age or storage discoloring, small marks, etc. This is normal for vintage merchandise. I try to describe anything that would be considered a major flaw, such as a rip, hole, discoloring, scratches, chips, crazing, or stains.
