Antique Funeral Home Ice newest Tongs

This savage looking tool was recovered from a funeral home that dated back several newest generations. It's primary use (in the early 1900's) was to move large ice blocks for the purpose of preserving bodies before more modern methods were introduced. It's speculated that many unscrupulous undertakers used these to move the deceased around as well.
