This high quality artistic little box is made from Cherry. I started with rough lumber and transformed it into this one-of-a-kind little treasure. The top is first carved with a delicate ornate design and then the carving is hand-painted and filled with a sparkly gold tinted resin and crushed glass. A wonderful artisan conversation piece... the perfect gift for someone special or yourself!

This box has a double carved design where the Cherry wood peeks up through the top of the resin and frames design elements.

I'm very proud of this creation! Many, many hours (days, weeks, years actually if I'm being honest) of trial an error to make this collectible little keepsake box.

Top fit: loose

This palm-sized box is sanded buttery smooth so that it feels great in the hands. I also buff this one to a high sheen.

A hand-rubbed finish was applied and then polished out for an incredibly smooth feel.

Top fit descriptions:
Loose: The top will lift without holding the bottom
Snug: The top will lift the bottom with it and require mild effort to separate from bottom
Extra Snug: The top will lift bottom with it and require a fair amount of effort to separate from bottom. We all have different hand strength so these are generalizations.
