"The Honorable Percival" and "Lovey Mary" by author Alice Hegan Rice who wrote the classic Mrs. Wiggs of The Cabbage Patch is being offered here as a set. Both are FIRST EDITIONS EARLY PRINTINGS published in 1914 and 1903 respectively both by the Century Co. They are Illustrated w/plates, frontispieces, decorative cloth covers, as well as deckled edges. Condition: VG(Very Good)-Covers and binding have minor to moderate wear that includes corner bumps and abrasions, slight folding over, as well as some staining and/or soiling. Boards and endpapers have some creases and tanning as well as some minor amounts of staining. Boards, binding, covers, and spine are fully and firmly intact with overall excellent presentation. Interior pages are crisp mostly off-white with some tanning, water staining on a few pages, and a couple have some minor tears. However, there are no loose or missing pages.
