I love the classic design of this beautiful antique linen apron! What a wonderful find - and would make the perfect gift for anyone who loves antiques AND being in the kitchen! This textile is an antique French apron, designed to be worn over a skirt to protect a woman's clothing on occasions such as market day when a woman had work to do in her fine clothes! This apron uses the most wonderful warm, creamy linen and cotton blend and has really pretty natural striations in the twill weave. There is also an off-white natural linen band hand stitched on both sides to tie in the back. There are pleats at the top and the bottom is hemmed. A wonderful find that is rugged enough to use daily, or would be beautiful hung on a hook for display in a farmhouse kitchen!

MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately 22 inches wide at the pleated waist by 36 inches long. Each of the ties is almost 30 inches long so this apron would be adjustable to a variety of waist sizes!

CONDITION: I have freshly laundered this lovely apron and it's ready to use or give as a gift! Beautiful condition!
