Newest Hand painted Art Nouveau/Pre Raphaelite style Lady on reclaimed Victorian quarry tile/stone
This beautiful Art Nouveau style lady is hand painted with acrylic on a reclaimed Victorian blue quarry tile, found buried deep in the back garden of a Victorian cottage. Each tile is W6” x H6” x D1”.
This particular piece has been hugely influenced by artist John Waterhouse's aesthetic and the Pre Raphaelite movement, especially their interest in Shakespearean characters such as Ophelia.
With over 20 years of experience and dedication to my craft, I create the perfect gift for you or a loved one that would look lovely as a unique decorative ornament in your home.
Inspired by the Art Nouveau and Pre-Raphaelite aesthetic, I first draw then finish with paint on any number of reclaimed materials to create beautiful bespoke one off pieces that have had many days of love and labor poured into them.
Each tile is finished with a durable waterproof sealer to protect the painting. Although sealed, would not recommend keeping in direct sunlight as colour vibrancy could get affected over time. As these tiles are reclaimed there may be occasional blemishes or chips but these will be shown in the pictures if the case.
A huge part of my work is newest commission based, tailored to your preferences and made with your vision in mind, always creating a truly unique, personal piece. If you are interested please contact me direct to discuss prices.
